Part of my personal work, this piece was built around a quote taken from the story of Jael and her ruthlessness. In true Old Testament heroin style, this Hebrew character is known for having violently hammered a peg in her enemy's skull after giving him shelter and food. The initial version of this illustration was created with acrylic paint and posca pen in 50x70cm paper and exhibited and sold through Galeria Apaixonarte in Lisbon. The final version is a digital drawing printed on a 100x100cm canvas with a wood frame and it was exhibited in Lagos and Braga.
